How long does it take to get a new fuel card?

Your fuel card will be received within 4 to 7 business days.


When do I have to pay for my fuel purchases?

No need to pay immediately.  Early each month (usually within 3 days of the end of the month) you will receive a Tax Invoice for your previous month's fuel purchases. The amount will be debited from the account you nominate 10-17 days later. You will be notified when the debit is to occur. This provides up to 47 days interest free financing of fuel purchases.


Can I use a credit card?

Yes! To take advantage of you card loyalty program you may have your fuel card bill debited to your credit card. (Credit card charges will apply)


Are there any additional Costs?

No transactions fee. (Many fuel cards issued by other companies carry a transaction fee of up to 50 cents per transaction).

Fastnet do not levy any charges for:

" Cancellation of a card

" Replacement of lost/stolen cards

" Replacement of active cards

" Changes to card details

" Issue of new or additional cards

" Issue of duplicate Tax Invoices

No set up fees. However we pass on the charge of a credit check. This fee is payable whether or not we approve your application. You can supply your own.


There is a service card monthly fee of $5.50 for the first card and $4.95 for each additional card.


Do I have to keep the receipts issued at the Point of Sale?

No. It is not necessary to retain any receipts. The Australian Taxation Office has approved our fuel card reporting.  It satisfies both the substantiation and compliance rules. Unlike when you pay for fuel by credit card there is need to keep receipts.


How else does the fastnet fuel card save me money?

Our tax invoices are recommended by accountants as a method of recording fuel usage. Our card system is designed to save administration costs to your business. GST reporting is broken down to individual card and summarised with one clear total. Only 12 Tax Invoices per year to process. This gives huge savings in preparing Bass returns.


What Service Stations can I use my fuelCard at?

You can use your card at any Ampol, Caltex, service stations and also 7-Eleven, Woolworths, Safeways, Road Pantry Solo and many independent outlets.

           


How long will my current fuel card stay valid for?

The Fuelcards will be automatically updated and seamlessly renewed on expiry.

        

Where do I collect the Fuelcards?

The fuelcard will be sent to your nominated address



How do I report a Lost or stolen card?

The 24/7 lost or stolen card hotline number is 1800 023 631.The card is cancelled immediately upon notification providing security protection and peace of mind. Fastnet should be notified afterwards for a replacement card to be issued. Lost or stolen Star Cards will be replaced and will be sent to the registered holder within four working days of notification. There will be no charge for replacing the card.
